VSIBE is a leveraged, diversified investment vehicle, operating under a license granted under the terms of the International Banking Center Regulatory Act of 1989. It began operations in July 1999, and was reorganized as an independent corporate entity in July 2002. Its focus is US Dollar denominated fixed income investments. VSIBE pursues consistent, stand-alone, positive net interest margins from a high-credit-quality asset portfolio, and proactively manages funding and interest rate risk positions.
